My Christmas Break

My Christmas break was interesting. I stayed at home for most of the break but even though I dint go anywhere I still had fun. I spent the break with my family. My boyfriend came over a few times over the break. We went to Subway and the lake. For Christmas I got new white shirts, new pants, new socks, and a shirt that says “I’m the bomb!”, and new shoes. My dad bought us a new computer. It’s a touch screen. Pretty awesome!! My boyfriends gram bought me one of those built it charm bracelets. And my boyfriend bought me a nail kit and an “I love boobies” belt from dollar general!! My new year was pretty beast. But I can’t talk about it because it’s not school appropriate. But all together it was a pretty great break. I’m happy to be back at school with my friends. My parents were driving me crazy. Plus I need something to keep me busy.

Christmas Spirit

Its Christmas time and everyone is getting into the holiday spirit. Having the school decorate their classrooms and the hallways just put students into that holiday cheer. It seems that nobody has a problem with anybody during the holidays.

                When I walk into my teachers classrooms and they have their Christmas trees and stockings up inside the class it just puts me in a better mood. For some reason everyone is jolly and happy to be around everyone. I try my hardest to put people in a better mood.

                Christmas is that time to give back to the community or just a certain person in the community. When people are fighting over what they want for Christmas it makes me think that they don’t really understand what Christmas is really for. Christmas is the time to spend with family and be happy for what you have. Yes, it’s nice to get new things for Christmas but at the same time I don’t want anything else but what I already have.

                Mariah Carey made a cover song for “All I Want for Christmas”. During the song she talks about for Christmas she want everything that she has and all she needs is her man right by her side for the holidays. I feel that way about Christmas. All I want is everything I already have and my baby by my side. If I could have those two things I wouldn’t need anything else.

                My Christmas wish is that everyone over the holidays gets to spend time with their family and friends. I wish that my family would enjoy Christmas for what it really is and not for the present that they have under the tree. My wish for Christmas is to still be alive, safe, and healthy.

Duggar Family Editorial

The Duggar family is going to have their twentieth child. Even after finding out the complications they are still going to conceive the child.  Michelle Duggar is 45 years old, which is too old to be having anymore children. Women in their late thirties are advised by their physician to not have any more children due to complications in the fetus and the child. Her last child, Josie, was conceived by an emergency C-section due to birth complications.

After seeing that their last child had complications during birth Michelle should have said its time to stop having children. Her doctor has told her how bad of an idea it is to have this child because it could suffer from Down syndrome or other major brain complications.

I think that Michelle should give up the child as a good mother should. Michelle says that the child will come out healthy and without complications. However, the doctors all say that there is a high risk factor that she could either die herself or lose the baby during birth. As a mother she should just give up the child because if she dies herself during the birth of the child, she will be leaving all nineteen of her children behind.

Quit honestly she should take responsibility and look at what’s best for her and her family. Having this baby is not the responsible option. She should give up the child and take care of the nineteen that she does have. She needs to take care of her family.
